Meet Kailyn

Kailyn Sorrels is the owner of Progressive Aesthetics. She is an experienced aesthetics nurse practitioner injector with almost 4 years of experience. She holds a Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Northern Kentucky University and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Louisville. Her nursing career began as a critical care nurse. After working the Covid-19 pandemic, her career goals changed. She started Progressive Aesthetics in May 2021 with the help of her mother, Trisha Phelps. She is an occupational therapist who has served her community for over 30 years as owner of Progressive Sports Therapy. Kailyn wanted to keep the trusted family name. Her goal is for her clients to always feel safe and welcome in her practice. She loves to learn and continues to bring the best aesthetics treatments to her hometown in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Outside of work, she values family time. She loves anything outdoors (wearing her SPF of course) with her husband, Brett and fur babies, River and Bella. Kailyn is an expert in facial balance with dermal fillers (Juvederm/ Restylane) and neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin), non-surgical treatments of facial aging, medical grade skincare, and all other progressive aesthetic services offered. She is passionate about natural enhancements. Safety and education are her number one priority. This is why she is always continuing to learn the best techniques in the aesthetics world. She also offers free consultations to make sure her clients are well educated about the service they are getting. Kailyn’s calm personality and clinical expertise allows her to create an aesthetics treatment plan just for you.

What I love most about my job

“I’m here to help patients figure out their specific aesthetic goals. I love facilitating confidence by offering the greatest treatment options in the industry without having to leave Owensboro. I strive to enhance patient's natural features, rather than the overfilled look that gives aesthetics a bad name. I love teaching patients what they can achieve at home with medical grade skincare in combination with our services in office.”
